Join IFTV SPORTS CLUB

On July 30, 2022, an event organized by the IFTV Sports Club took place at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College Cricket Ground in Porur. This event, known as the Indian Celebrity League, was a collaborative initiative involving the Indian Film Graduates Legal Forum, BMR Mall, and IFTV Events, with Guinness Babughanesh serving as the host. Its primary aim was to promote a cricket team consisting of individuals with physical disabilities alongside Film and Television celebrity cricketers. The proceeds generated from this event are allocated towards the educational needs of underprivileged yet talented students through the Lakshmi Balaramanan Educational and Charitable Trust.

This initiative aimed to raise awareness and provide support for the welfare of athletes with special needs, particularly those confronting physical challenges, by organizing a cricket event that enabled them to showcase their skills and abilities. It exemplifies the effective use of sports as a means of empowerment and inclusivity for individuals with disabilities.

MEMBERSHIP

While the objective is to maintain exclusivity in memberships and cultivate a network of like-minded professionals, the club remains receptive to incorporating new members who wish to join this expanding community of successful individuals. Regular memberships are designated for those from the diaspora; however, non-voting associate memberships are accessible to individuals from all states, thereby fostering a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
